An incredible documentary about the simple but transformative power of music. The film brings together 100 musicians from around the world playing in their own traditions. including blues singers in New Orleans, chamber groups in Moscow, and an South African choir among others — to collaborate on songs from the past and present. In an effort to foster a new, greater understanding of how the love of great music can bring us together, although we are world's apart, and bond us to improve the life of others.
The mission of the Playing For Change Foundation is dedicated to connecting the world through music by providing resources (including, but not limited to facilities, supplies and educational programs) to musicians and their communities around the world. The foundation also supports projects inspired by the communitiesfeatured in the Playing for Change Documentaries.
